enano e2 “Green” Desktop COMPUTERS TO BE FEATURED ON MAY 18th SEASON-FINALE OF ABC NETWORK’S “EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION”

Katrina-Ravaged New Orleans Area Church and Family Beneficiaries of March 6th - March 14th Foundation-to-Roof Construction Project

March 10, 2008 – San Diego, CA  – enano® computers, one of the first companies to introduce both an Energy Star 4.0 and EPEAT certified line of computers, today proudly announced that it will be participating in the New Orleans-based season-finale of ABC network’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” (EMHE). It marks the first time that the pioneering green technology company will be participating in the program. The San Diego-based company will be donating four computers to the beneficiaries of “Extreme Makeover’s” rebuilding efforts. It marks the first time in the show’s history that a coalition of companies are coming together to build a home in just one week with donated materials. Organizations representing over a dozen different states – from California to Mississippi to New York – are banding together for the effort.

On March 6th, EMHE host Ty Pennington informed the beneficiaries of their good fortune. One lucky family will be receiving a brand-new hurricane-resistant house, featuring three enano computers that will be used throughout their home.

The fourth donated enano e2 computer will be used to power a project that was ravaged when Hurricane Katrina struck one of the foundations of New Orleans’ soul, a local church ruined by floodwaters. It was razed this week and will also be rebuilt in just one week. The church will use its enano PC to work in tandem with its church organ to deliver the music to the ears and eyes of its congregation that serves as the backbone of its services.

“It is an honor for enano to be working with ‘Extreme Makeover’ on such an important project,” said enano COO Bill Reh. “The affects of Hurricane Katrina are still being felt in New Orleans and will be for a long time to come. Being able to contribute in any way is extremely gratifying.”

The enano e2 is perfectly suited to meet EMHE’s goal of reducing the carbon footprint its home-rebuilding projects. The desktop computer is 95 percent recyclable and runs on the power of a light bulb (30 watts). The ultra small form-factor computer can be mounted to the back of most flat-screen monitor and power HDTV programming, a music library for the stereo to serve as the nerve center for a family's entertainment system and its home computer. The enano e2 can also serve as a mini-server for a home office.

Enano e2 operates up to 95 percent quieter, 90 percent more energy-efficient, 65 percent cooler than standard desktop computers, and takes virtually no space when mounted in the back of a monitor. It is also designed with style in mind, so it won't stick out like the big clunky purple elephant in a room. In fact, no one will even know it's there.
